Best in Between

PROBLEMATIC SCENARIO

In China’s megacities, young people often face high rent and the demanding 996 work model, leading to high-intensity and stressful urban lives that leave them physically and mentally exhausted. Although 72.7% of the target group eat alone at home and lack access to an independent kitchen due to limited space and inadequate water or power facilities, their cultural and emotional connection to food drives a growing need for compact and fully functional dining and cooking solutions.

Concept

The mini-kitchen is suitable for a variety of scenarios and usage requirements.

Modular and Flexible

Simple and Orderly

Ergonomic and Wet–dry separation

Pattern A(1 set):
The kitchen is on the same table

Double combination:
a modular kitchen unit + an additional storage unit

Pattern B(2 sets):
The kitchen has a separate area

Adjustable brightness and color temperature

The warm white light with a color temperature of 3000K is suitable for dining, and the atmosphere is obviously different from the cold white light with a color temperature of 6500K.
